I have acquired an old Trojan Loader that appears to have been built around a Farmall M from the engine back to the differential housing. The engine has C248 on the block and the casting code puts it in 1953. I am trying to find the fill plug for the rearend gear oil. I have found the two drain plugs and the level plug on the side, but much of the top of the transmission area is covered by the operators platform and I am having trouble locating the fill plug. The machine is also missing the bottom clutch bell housing cover and I would like to get one on before venturing into the brush. Can anyone recommend a place that would have them and how much would I expect to pay for one? Haven’t worked on a Farmall yet so this is fun learning how it works. Somebody has really goofed up the governor/throttle linkage on this thing, I only get about 900 rpm out of it. Been doing a lot of research in the archives and can’t wait to get an I&T to help figure this thing out (the Farmall part that is..) Can’t seem to find hardly any info on old Trojans. Thanks all... Dan
