I am looking for a tractor to pull a 2 or 3 bottom plow, run a 4 row cornplanter etc.. i would only have 5 acres or so max to plant so i would not be using the tractor for many hours in the field. I recently saw a farmall 544 utility gas tractor for that has the 13.6?x28 inch rear tires. Would this be a good tractor to plow and plant with or is it too small and without enough clearance? Also on the side would chains be necessary to have if i used it for snow removal. By the way the tires are new, and not loaded. Or could i just load the tires and that would be good enough for winter use?
