Cast rings will seat in much easier than chrome. Chrome rings are harder, and reccommended for use in dusty enviroments due to the fact that they stand up to wear much better than cast. Doesn"t sound like you"ll be using it that much in the dirt, so cast should be ok.
Another thing, you did not mention if you"re planning to hone the cylinders. I"ve heard that at times chrome rings WON"T seat if put into a non-honed, smooth-glazed cylinder. If you"re not planning to hone, then for sure go with cast rings.
