I just installed an Interstate 950 CCA group 31 MHD into the SM that I"m overhauling for a guy. Lots of reserve power to get it started. I also replace both cables with 2/0 cable so I can get all the power from the battery to the starter. The Interstate group 31 is the same battery that most over-the-road trucks use. I feel that a Ag tractor battery needs to take the vibration that it will get while riding around in a tractor. There is room in the battery box so why not use it. The bigger battery only cost a few $$$ more and there is nothing worst than a tractor that won"t start when you want to go for a ride.
