Rickie: To start with a 300 would be either a 54, 55 or 56 as that was the only years built. You need a manual for all those questions. 300 really has only 3 separate oils; crank case any good motor oil, hydraulics and IPTO hytran only and transmission-rear end which is gear oil 90W. Steering box will take the gear oil as well. On gear boxes IH used a system of fill to level plugs, these probably had labels when tractor was new. This is one reason why manual important, just too much chance for mistake on describing which plug over the internet.
