Hi Clark,
I also have a 1929 22-36 Mc. D. SN: 110198. I think you will also find dates cast onto the bottom of the engine and trans. These will help assure you thet the engine year matches the rest of the tractor. I've also found casting dates in various other parts.
Is yours on steel or rubber?
Quite a piece of hardware, huh?
