By the looks of my already rusty rim I fear you may be correct. However, I just bought the tractor, and don't know the history of the problem, other than it did not appear to be leaking the first few weeks I had it. Actually the rim is not in good enough condition to re-use if I have to have it repaired. Not an easy task as they are 15.5-38's. I probably should start trying to find a used rim, and a local tire guy who will come out, as I know I cannot handle one of these by myself.
