350 STUCK IN GEAR

I'VE GOT A 300/350 FARMALL (DON'T ASK)
THAT IS STUCK IN 5TH GEAR. THE TRANSMISSION IS IN THE NEUTRAL POSITION, BUT IS IN 5TH GEAR. IF I TRY TO PUT IT INTO ANY OTHER GEAR IT LOCKS UP AND KILLS THE ENGINE. SEEMS TO ME BY THAT IT IS LOCKING THEN INTO TWO GEARS. TORQUE STILL WORKS FOR 5TH GEAR. CAN I FIX IT WITHOUT SPLITTING THE TRACTOR?
