warm rap

I have a H that starts rapping when the engine comes to operating temp. I pulled the pan and checked the bearings. all seemed tight. The valves seem to be adjusted the best i could get them whith the worn rocker ends. When the engine is cold you can just hear it if you put your ear to the oil pan. Once it warms up you can hear it just standing by the engine. Any ideas?
