Joe it very well could be coming from the PTO IF YOU HAVE THE 2 BAND PTO it did that from the first SMTA"s. The SMTA through the 450 had what was knowen as seasonal disconnect at back a TA housing so the pto did not run, most guys just put pto in gear when there was not implement with pto, just to stop noise.
