Kelly, Great leaders are those who can and will make the hard choices. Down the pyramid somewhere are those who make popular choices. I believe wholeheartedly in Margaret Thatchers statement that "Those who lead by concensus lack leadership". As I listened to George W"s speech, it impressed me as a "The buck stops here" speech, where he stated his position, and reasons for his decisions, and has held fast to a steady course, with no apologies, regardless of the flack from his detractors. Now we"ll see if Americans appreciate honesty, integrety, consistency, and true leadership which transends party ideology. The other guy"s flip flop methods to please too many people, frankly scare me.
