IH 85 Front Mount Cultivator

Anybody with experience?? I just bought one that came off of an 806. He bought it from a guy that had it on a 1486. I am going to put it on my 1456. For mounting......Is the front mounting bracket the only thing that is different between the models.....or are the side plates different. It fits on the 1456 ok. Everything looks like it lines up, but some people said it won't work because a 1486 is wider than an 806 which is the same as a 1456, and that I need different side plates along with the front plate which has a spacer welded to it about three inches long. Is this all I need.
