INJECTION PUMP ON 606

HELP! The flange on the injection pump broke in half
while it was being installed. I think this happened
because the injection lines were put on and tightened
down and then the pump was drawn up tight to the
motor. For whatever reason, the pump is still broke.
Will this work? Make a collar and and drill and tread a
series of holes through the broken and good part of the
pump, and mount it this way. Or am I looking at
raplacing the entire pump? Any other fixes and advice
are welcome.
