I agree, carb! I have a 560 I built an engine from peices from salvage yards for and I fought a dirty carburator for months. I was sure I did something wrong inside(timing gears) almost to the point of tearing it down again. I finally baked the carb in the oven at 300 degrees for a half hour or so and rotted it out again with oven cleaner and forced air,it ran perfect. I must have been in the carb 6 times before I baked it. I am a little biased towards these tractors.
