Ok Its either the condenser or the coil most likely. I would try the condenser first ah what the heck put in new points and condenser. They are cheap. Take a coil wire that you know is good and put it in the coil cap and take the other end and put it about a 1/4" away from the screw on the side that your switch wire goes to and turn it over and see what you have Most likely if it ran before its the condenser not the coil.If you go to the blue ribbon service manual http://www.cleancomputes.com/Cub/Blue%20Ribbon%20Service%20Manuals/GSS-5035%20Service%20Manual%20Magnetos/index.html it will tell you everything you need but you will need special tools for the tests.
