Clipping on of the pastures today and noticed a "spurt" of oil shooting out the left side of the 560 (1962 gas model). Turns out the line to the oil pressure gauge broke in 1/2 and it was whipping around like a garden hose spraying oil everywhere. Well I didn't have any duct tape or baling wire (just kidding) with me so I used Vice Grip plier to pinch it off and made it home. Now I went to our local (worthless) farm store (so they call it) and they didn't have a new gauge or line or anything to fix it. Are these lines a special size, or would NAPA or other parts store have one? I have never had to mess with an oil gauge before so don't know too much about them. I assume I can unhook it at the back of the gauge and then at the block and just put in a new line? I am going to try again to get parts Sunday, any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
