Remove the outer cover which is also the outer plate and you will find the first brake disc, then the actuater, and then the second brake disc. The last thing is the inter plate which has the shaft seal. The brake system should be dry unless the seal is leaking. The inter plate is a press fit with an O-ring into the transmission. You will find notches to use a wedge tool to separate it from the transmission. If the seal is not leaking you will not need to remove the inter plate.
