D-188 head torque??

Hi,

I'm about to replace the head gasket on a 514 (european version of the 504).
now for the head I asked someone that worked at International Harvester Belgium. He doesn't have a workshop manual, but his notes from years back quote the heads torque is 123 ft.lb. (17mkg). It seems a lot to me. If anyone knows if this is correct or has the correct value, please let me know.
