Is the relief valve about a 1 inch thick block that is in between the hand valve and the hyd reservoir? I saw no adjustment but I guess it could be a broken spring.

Are these new problems, or something that's always been that way?
I haven't had it long but it has been weak a while.

Yes, cleaned filter (screen)

Does the pump squeal or the engine labor when trying to lift the load? Does it lift fully without a load on it? Pump dosen't squeel engine labors a little, Yes it will lift all the way.
