Not sure how you cleaned your carb but you've got to strip it bare, remove all the jets and plugs and soak it in a good chemical carb cleaner over nite to loosen all the deposits and blow it out thoroughly with compressed air. Last one I did for a guy took 2 repetitions to clean up. Cleaning in gasoline or diesel won't cut the varnish. Make sure you have good fuel flow as others have said.
