Jim, I have had amazing luck getting almost everything I need for my 1957 350 Utility at Napa in Calgary. Don't just phone any old store though. They mostly have kids who drive import cars and wouldn't even know what a magneto is. Call the Western Canada warehouse at (403)212-4633 and as for someone who knows about parts for old IH tractors. There is one old codget there who has forgoten more about these tractors than I will ever know (I have no idea what his name is). I have phoned looking for hard to find parts (engine not chassis) and he always even seems to have them in stock. I realize that Calgary isn't close but as I said this is the Western Canada UAP/NAPA warehouse so they have huge stock and they will likely work with you to get the parts shipped to the nearest NAPA. I hope this helps.
