Transmission Cover Casting Dates

I have 7 Farmall M's. Soem to use, some for parts and one to turn into a trailer queen. I noticed that on my 1943 all the casting dates are june or july (M) 1943. On the transmisson cover there are some Ms that have the casting date where your right foot sits and some have it by the shift lever base. The year that the tractor was made does not seem to make the difference. Was it different factories? My 1943 has it by the shift lever. it is also has a piece broke off by the brake pedals. I want to keep it original. Please Help.
