Mike, The battery box was originally located just foward of the steering post electrical panel and just behind the touch control. There are four tapped holes on the torque tube that are used for L-brackets that support the battery box. I believe the positive terminal goes to the rear of tractor and attached to ground and the negative terminal is foward and goes to the starter. Hope this helps. You can still buy that box. scotty
