I gotta agree with Loren. Presuming the correct axle part number was installed, only front end body distortion causing the engine to be shifted beyond spec to the passenger side would cause that. Double check the axle shaft assembly number however. I"ve owned a couple of these vans and have replaced several drive shaft assemblies. There"s different shaft lengths depending on the particular engine/transmission combination. Also the drive shafts differ slightly between manufacturers (Citroen or GKN). It"s possible you are not using the correct shaft assembly...
