KB: The cab you are calling a Custom cab was not an IH cab. It was made by a company called Excell. Those cabs did appear on other makes of tractors as well. The only cabs IH ever made for 66 series were the White and Red with White roof ROPS cabs.

I had an Excell cab on my 656, it had been removed from a 766 as the customer wanted ROPS. I had a neighbor with an Excell cab on an Allis 190XT. I've seen them on Cockshutts and Olivers of the mid to late 60s.
