Single front tire replacement

I have a H with a single front tire. It is a 9" rim X10" and looks like an aircraft tire. They were used on tractors with pickers on them. I have not been able to find anyone who makes one or can recap the old one. Have any of you had this problem? On a previous post someone mentioned using a space saver spare from a full size car as rim to mount a rib tire on. Has anyone done this?
