Having trouble with my Farmall A with the H4 mag. It has been running bad after it warms up so I put another coil I had in it and new cap and rotor points and condensor. My first question is if standing at the seat platform looking at the dist. cap which way does the rotor cap rotate? I am assuming it rotates clockwise? if it doesn't maybe that is my problem. I have re timed it but do not always seem to get spark. at first I had none and I was conserened. so I took and made suret that I have good spark coming from the mag. But the spark doesn't seem to get from the dist cap to the plugs. has anyone else had this problem? I then pulled the rotor cap so it was not down tight and I got spark. This is a TSC rotor cap and points set. the dist cap is from IH. do you think there is a problem with the rotor cap from tsc where it isn't tall enough to hit the dist cap? Chad
