Just went through this with my newly acquired 100. Adjusted the clutch (it was releasing 1/4" from the bottom). Oil was contaminated, changed it and it shifts perfectly. Some would not agree but on a tractor this old I use 140 weight it seems to take a few years off of trannys and final drives.
