BB: There was manufacture and assembly in each country. Just exactly what was done in each country, I'm not quite sure on all. Quite sure the gas engine was US using different electric components. The US diesel engine was gas start. The B and A deisels were all made in Britain. How much castings, gears and sheet metal was done in each country, I don't have the answer. There had to be some, as I think having A and B designation indicates manufacture not just assembly.
