If I can rebuild the engine on a Farmall A, then you can certainly
rebuild your H. I had no experience and learned by doing. It cost
$200 to have my head redone by a machine shop. They boiled
the block for $35, ground the crankshaft and gave me new
bearings for $185, and the new piston and sleeve set cost right
at $300. But, you may not really need to go that far.
