Both the Serial Numbers link to the left of this page and Guy Fay's Tractor Data book have the MD lumped in the the M's. They were built from 1941 thru 1952. As for how good they are depends on what you intend to do with them. As has been discussed on this board the head can have a tendency to crack if not operated properly. I believe some of the parts may be hard to find. Just like all of the other tractors they clean up really nice and make a nice show tractor.
