The 90 ft-lbs would be ok for the head. It has been many, many years since I torqued any rod caps. Seems like it is more in the 45 ft-lbs range. I did help my brother a few years back when he was overhauling a Cummins 444. If memory serves me the mains were torqued to 300 ft-lbs. That really makes you grunt, even with a long handled torque wrench. :>) Somebody will jump in here with the correct rod torque specs.
