I just bought a Farmall A. I think it is a 1940. I paid 1000 for it. Only bad thing about it is the guy that owned it before the one I am buying it from had sandblasted it down and never got it painted for what ever reason. The guy I bought it from painted it with a oil base barn paint. So I will have to sandblast it again when I am ready to repaint it. Runs good though. Just gotta figure out how it was originally with shutting it off. Now I have to get off the tractor and on the right side short out the magneto. I wonder if there was a cable going to the area of the steering before or not. Good Luck on your search
