574 gas Hydrulic problems

I have an older 574 gas and started having problems with hydraulics. started with steering and now we cannot lift loader or anything else.
We changed oil-filter and even replaced pump but still nothing. Everything works fine when you 1st start it but it gets very hot very soon and then will not work. The whole tractor seems hot and smells of hot oil. Is the radiator the problem or the oil cooler by the radiator or just what is it? It should not get that hot that fast and has been very frustrating trying to figure out what is wrong. Can anyone help?
