ive put oversize crater domes and sleeves into a 140. where i work we have three 140's for mowing township roadsides. the first one (a first generation)i put regular size sleeves in,nad otherwise did a complete rebuild. the second one(a second generation)i put the oversize sleeves and crater domes in, and a complete rebuild. the third one ( a third generation) we just got and doesnt need any mechanical work yet.anyhow the second one with the crater domes is quite an animal. with the starter it starts easier, we have never hand cranked it. it doesnt take any more gas than the others, as far as i can tell. it sounds pretty neat also.
