Leon. i had a problem with my starter on my H something like yours.
there are one or two lugs that have wires soldered in them. sometined those lugs get hot enough to melt the solder causing a bad connection.
and sometimes a bad connection doesnt show up on a bench test. it has to be under a load.
im not saying this is your problem, but its one thing to check out. take a close look at those lugs.
