water in oil of F20

I know it is impossible to tell where the leak is comming from until I get the engine appart. But can anyone tell me is the engine for a 36 F20 has a known leak problem area. The engine has always had antifreeze so i'm sure it didn't crack from freezing. The engine starts and runs fine when I add coolent. I'm guessing the head gasket, but the ammount of coolent collecting in the oil pan seemed to be fairley large for the small time I had coolent in the engine to run it while moving to the shed etc.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
