While I don't claim to be an expert and my own is not running at this point, I have always had the understanding that it was fairly common for the F-20s to miss at idle and then correct out under full load. I wonder in fact if you are not chasing around a problem that is simply inherent to the design and for which there is no solution. You may be frustrating yourself to no purpose. It sounds to me like you have a nice tractor in every other detail. I wonder if you shouldn't just consider it to be completed and part of its character and charm.
