Allen, this tractor is taking its good sweet time getting to optimum operating temperature. My neighbors ask me to start the B414 in the evening to kill the mosquitos in their yard. Well, I made that part up, but that old girl smokes like a broke stove for 10 minutes in the cold, 5 on a hot day. I have had that old bird out mowing for 30 or 40 minutes before it starts running in the zone, clicking along like it can go all day, happy as a clam. I do love the sound of a fine running motor. I have to service the air cleaner about every 10 hours by taking it off the tractor and soaking the whole thing in diesel. If I don't, it will restrict the air some and I get a bit of smoke, just barely noticable and it will lug down faster than normal. Don't worry about it if it is running good. UFO Man
