Torque amplifier? That's great! It's like splitting the gears. Where some manufacturers use hi-lo transmissions, IHC used the TA. Should you be using the tractor in a hard pull situation ie plowing, and it starts to bog down, just pull the TA. I have a 504 and it would be nice to have the TA on it, especially when I'm using the bushhog and trying to back up with the throttle in PTO position. That would help slow down the tractors ground speed. What about brakes? Will yours lock the wheel to turn the tractor?
