Hi Chad. I know that would be disheartening to
have that happen. Are you sure you put the new insert bearings in correctly so oil can feed your main and rod bearings? You're going to have to drop the pan and look at those rods and mains. Double check the inserts and inspect the crankshaft for any roughness. If bearings and shaft look OK, get a calibrated torque wrench. Call your local Allis dealer for the correct torques. This is critical to have the correct
clearances on your rods and mains. You can loosen
the rod caps and mains and see if the engine is free to turn. Good Luck, Hal
