I know the guys at Hoober's(Big IH dealer in the southern part of PA) do alot of hydro's..........Might want to contact them.

If it was me, I'd keep the Hydro rather than hack it up.........At the sales I have been too a good 656 Hydro brings double of what a 656 gear drive does(Just for your info).
