High price? My Pete and flat cost $6200 a year, insurance, IFTA (fuel Tax) runs $1200, average maintenance (oil, filters etc.) with no major breaks is $2000, not to mention tires at $350 each. Registration and tags $4500. Did I forget to mention fuel at $2.00+ per gallon. I get 6 to 7 mile per gallon. That is before I eat. $1.00 a mile is a very fair price.
