I assume you mean one of the 1.5" or so diameter caps on either side of the block.. Not sure I have an answer for you. The block has a check valve in it. That or some other valve, etc could have stuck and allowed pressure to build up. Only answer there is to remove the block, clean and rebuild it -- about $90 in parts. You could have too much fluid. Fluid is added until just below the filler hole with the two levers in the rear position. Or if the tractor sat a long time without being used, condensation set in, perhaps rusting the caps to the point that they don't hold, in which case it will happen again. I vote for a stuck valve, but I'm not sure.
