I have an old 560 diesel that'll start down around 10 below 0 with 2 good strong batteries and 2 or 3 minutes on the glow plugs.Don't ether a glow plug engine cause it'll blow up . And don't ether a 282 at all cause the head gasget is the only weak part of that engine and it will eventually get it to leaking. Everybody
b!tches about IH's glowplug engines being slow to start,anybody ever run a CAT dozer from the 60's and 70's they're the exact same thing. I happen to like them.
