Antifreeze spots on edge of head

Did the tappets on my IH 200 cu inch gas Monday. Went to put the valve cover gasket on Friday and there were three one/quarter inch buttons of anti-freeze in a line on the lip where the gasket sits. Does not seem to be a visible crack through the head at this spot. Did have some sludge on the inside of the cover on the tractor seat end of the valve cover. Been 14 years since I took the cover off.
Can I run the tractor without causing water damage to the engine? Water level in the rediator has been prety good.
