My 1948 W4 has no hydraulics, only electrics it has is a starter, I got it from the original owner and he said it never had a generator or lights on it, he also said that when the battery froze one winter they never replaced it, they hand cranked it.As for a H doing a better job,, well its basically the same tractor,,same engine as a H, just low slung like a utility tractor,, I have it for sale in the photo ads,, gotta sell some equipment...Jim
