Dave: That is a tough call, think about what would be involved in putting a $1,000. Super A in that shape. I know a couple of guys that do complete mechanical as well as cosmetic restoration. They tell me that on average its costing $5,000 to $7,000. USD to do the job. This is on letter series Farmalls. Believe me these guys don't fool with stuck engines, busted castings, etc. Those are just parts tractors to them. Next question, can you recover your money if you restore one. The answer is NEVER. Then you look at average Super A, original paint, always shedded, runs well, good sheet metal, good castings, fair rubber. It will probably fetch $2,000. to $2,500. under the hammer. I hope I have helped in some way.
