Has anyone made a longer steering gear arm for the wide front on a C ? Would a 1/2" aluminum plate would be stiff enough / tough enough to use for a new arm ? Would I be better off using the narrow front for most row crops and the wide front for squash and tomatoes ? I was cultivating potatoes and could not make the tractor turn sharp enough to get into the next set of rows. Turning to the left, I could skip a pair and get into the ones after. Turning to the right, I was 8 rows over. The H (with a Schwartz wide front) turns better than that. Thanks
Greg
