There is about a 2 inch piece of rubber hose with 2 pipe clamps on it that joins the pipe coming out of the reservior to the pipe going to the pump. Loosen the clamps and slide the rubber hose towards the front of the trator, then rotate the pipe coming from the reservior so that it will pass the other pipe and pull it out of the reservior. There should be a screen on the end of the pipe. We would place the tractor on an incline so the front end was much higher than the rear to prevent the hydraulic oil from all running out. Put some oil on the O ring before reinserting in the reservior. Be sure to apply parking brake and block wheels if you put tractor on incline to clean filter. Be careful JB
